This year Coulee Region Hunger Walk/Run expanded to include biking! We went virtual and what a great experience we had. Walkers, runners and bikers could participate anytime between October 4-11. Participants posted pictures of their activity on our Facebook page. On Monday, October 12, an awards ceremony (via Zoom) was held and individual and team awards were presented.
It was a beautiful week to exercise and enjoy a community effort in our beautiful region supporting local agencies who meet the needs of struggling families in the Coulee Region.
Hunger Task Force and WAFER each received 30% of the funds raised and 40% went to the food relief organization of the participants’ choice. Those food agencies include:
